The setup
Immersive cinema
you can actually play.
Our immersive film night will let you wander a mini-set based on the fictional world of CTRL AI Delete.
With you movie predominantly set inside a retro gaming EXPO, you’ll have plenty of arcade machines and 80s computer hardware to play on.. and who knows… hack!? During the course of the evening you’ll meet a few of the Skeg-Vegas movie misfits, live actors who, should thigns go catastrophically wrong, will be on hand to help you use vintage tech to save the world from a rampant super-intelligence.
At CTRL AI Delete LIVE the expo is real. The arcade machines are real. The AI intrusion is real(-ish). And the film is alive right before your eyes.
Live actors!
Performers appear LIVE and in character throughout the evening, bringing the world of CTRL AI Delete off the screen and into the room!
Your host
Ginger Morecambe
runs this venue.
Film Co-writer and professional stand-up Mark Felgate appears LIVE and in character as Ginger Morecambe - the Retro Expo's long-suffering venue manager. Ginger’s responsibilities include warming up the room, entertaining everyone with magic (even though they didn’t ask for it) and dealing with disaster as the AI goes rogue and threatens the show!
Oh, and Ginger has requested we mention that he is “also available for kids’ parties, hen-dos and weddings!”
In real life, Mark is an experienced stand-up comedian, ventriloquist and magician and is sure to have you laughing and cringing your way through an action-packed evening as he tackles unexpected technical issues and rogue AI mishaps.
Your Waitress
She doesn’t do please and thank you!
Straight from Mr Flippy's, meet the waitress rumoured to give the worst service of any cafe in the East Midlands area. She’ll be dishing out her famous 'Facon Special' - with a generous dollop of sardonic sauce on the side.
Your Expert Hacker
Isn’t that Harry Hill?
No! It’s that bloke off The Gadget Show! Screenwriter and extreme-extra of CTRL AI Delete, Jason Bradbury will be starring as the man from the Expo museum exhibit. Rumour has it, his geek credentials include retro computer hotwiring, exactly what’s required when the AI chaos gets real.
No other cinematic event lets you play with the props!

BREAKING NEWS!
“AI takes over movie screening”
Skeggy Herald
WARNING! Our events have been known to get hacked... by a rogue AI! Should this happen during your screening of the movie, DON'T PANIC!
We have ways of enrolling all of you to hack the AI back to the 80s - it just might mean your screening gets an unexpected interval!
One of the arcade cabinets on the floor doubles as a Reboot Terminal. Ginger Morecambe and maybe a volunteer or two will know what to do!
